Sandyhills Parish Church is here to help you in anyway that we can in the unusual circumstances that we are in for some time.

Hebrews 4:16
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need”

I was reading articles in The Times the other day and
I thought this prayer was approproiate to today (Mike Abbott)

A prayer of Susanna Wesley

Help me, Lord, to remember
that religion is not to be confined
to the church, or closet, nor exercised
only in prayer and meditation,
but that everywhere
I am in Your presence.

So may my every word and
action have moral content.

May all the happenings of my life
prove useful and beneficial to me.

May all things instruct me and
afford me an opportunity of
exercising some virtue
and daily learning and
growing towards Your likeness.

Amen.

We as a church believe that there is nothing impossible with God.

We believe that there is power in prayer because the one we
pray to is
All Powerful.
God always answers prayer –
sometimes He says, “Yes,”
sometimes He says, “ No”
and sometimes He says, “Not yet.”

An important lesson in prayer is entrusting everything to the Lord – even when we don’t understand what is going on.

We are told to pray in the Bible and prayer should be an integral part of any believers life.

He also cares for us and wants us to
bring our anxieties to him and to cast them upon Him.
If you need prayer for anything in your life please get in touch.

We would love to stand with you in prayer.
